Why buyers choose Phaldhara for Indian mango pulp
India accounts for roughly 45% of world mango production, and Phaldhara sources fruit directly from partner co-operatives in Ratnagiri, Devgad and Junagadh — the three geographies protected by GI (Geographical Indication) tags for Alphonso and Kesar. That direct-sourcing model lets us guarantee variety authenticity, harvest window (April–June) and pesticide-residue compliance for EU, GCC and USA buyers.
Every batch is processed in FSSC 22000 certified plants, vacuum-deaerated to prevent oxidation, pasteurised at 92–95 °C, and aseptically filled into pre-sterilised bag-in-drum packs. The result: mango pulp that ships and stores at ambient temperature for 18–24 months without preservatives, without added colour, and without dilution.
Alphonso vs Kesar vs Totapuri — which one for your line?
Alphonso mango pulp is the premium choice for RTD mango nectars, mango lassi bases and single-origin ice cream — its 16–18° Brix, 0.3–0.5% acidity and unmistakable saffron-yellow colour justify a price premium. Kesar delivers slightly higher Brix and a more aromatic profile, ideal for dairy-forward applications and dessert bases. Totapuri, tangier and at 14–16° Brix, is the cost-effective workhorse for carbonated fruit drinks, blended nectars and reconstitution.
We regularly co-pack blends (60:40 Alphonso:Totapuri is a common request) and can adjust Brix to buyer specification within processing tolerance. Ask for a spec sheet on any variety.
