IQF at −40 °C · Individually Quick Frozen

IQF frozen fruits supplier — berries, mango, pineapple, kiwi, avocado & more.

Phaldhara supplies IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) fruits to bakeries, yoghurt makers, smoothie brands, dessert manufacturers and QSR chains globally. Whole, sliced, diced and cubed formats — flash-frozen at −40 °C within hours of harvest to lock in colour, texture and nutrition. 10 kg cartons, MOQ 1 MT, 24-month frozen shelf life.

True IQF, not block-frozen

Each piece freezes individually — no clumping, easy to portion, pours straight from carton to production line.

Indian + imported range

Indian: Alphonso mango dices, pineapple tidbits, jamun, karonda, jackfruit, sitafal, guava chunks. Imported: strawberry, wild blueberry, raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant, cranberry.

Bakery, dairy & smoothie ready

Grade A whole and calibrated cuts. Bakery grade (broken/crumble) at reduced pricing for muffins, pies and fillings.

Why IQF beats block-frozen and fresh for industrial use

IQF freezing forms micro-crystals inside cell walls, unlike slow block-freezing which forms large crystals that rupture cell membranes and produce watery, mushy fruit on thaw. That means IQF fruit rehydrates closer to fresh texture — critical for bakery inclusions, yoghurt swirls, smoothie bases and ice-cream ribbons.

For QSR and industrial buyers, IQF also eliminates seasonality and price volatility: lock in a 12-month contract, buy in FCL quantities at frozen-drum prices, and forget the daily wholesale-market swings.

Frequently asked questions

What is IQF and how is it different from regular frozen fruit?

IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) uses spiral or tunnel freezers at −35 to −40 °C so each berry, dice or slice freezes separately in 3–10 minutes. Block-frozen fruit freezes slowly in mass, forming large ice crystals that damage cell walls. IQF fruit thaws with much better colour, texture and drip-loss than block-frozen.

What is the shelf life of IQF fruit?

24 months at −18 °C or colder. Do not re-freeze once thawed.

What is the MOQ for IQF fruit orders?

Standard MOQ is 1 MT per variety (four 250 kg lots). Mixed-fruit FCL orders (multiple varieties in one container) are welcome from 5 MT total.

Do you supply organic IQF fruit?

Yes, we source organic-certified IQF strawberry, blueberry, mango and pineapple. Certification: NPOP + USDA/NOP + EU Organic subject to variety and season.

Can you supply calibrated dice / slice sizes?

Yes. Standard dice: 10×10, 15×15 or 20×20 mm. Slices: 6, 8 or 10 mm. Custom cuts on order for volumes above 5 MT.
